AFRICAN PRINTS ON A DRESS DOWN FRIDAY

Last friday when the workload had reduced i was looking out of the window when i saw this lady going out of the hospital, i just had to take her picture. I had to zoom so much to get this picture.

I think the print is called 'hollandis' or so, i am not sure and stand to be corrected. What attracted me to her dress was the way she paired it with the navy blue lace. Most people who i see wearing this print lately combine two different colours of the same print. It was fine and unique when the trend started but now every janet, catherine and evelyn seems to be rocking the trend and it made me fall out of love with the style and the material. But seeing this lady made me appreciate the material again. I also love the red touch in the form of the bag.

Here is a picture i saw online portraying the beauty of African prints...

That is all for now folks, hope you enjoyed today's post.

I HAVE FINALLY GOTTEN IT!!

For most of you that follow me on my other blog (journalofapetitediva.blogspot.com), you would know this by now. Yes guys, i have finally gotten my camera. I settled with a hot pink canon DS2300 camera after so much researching and months of saving.

I absolutely love my camera. I haven't used it much. I am still trying to get used to the fact that i have to be carrying it about so that i can take great pictures for y'all. However i would try to remember to use it a lot.

So for those of you who have not seen my camera, here are some pictures:

Thanks for stopping by. Please check back soon as i intend to go full blast with posting now that i have gotten my camera.

APOLOGIES FOR THE LACK OF POSTS

Hey guys, i am sure you would have been wondering why i have not written any posts recently but i just realized that i can't run a fashion blog without a camera. A big bummer! A very big bummer!!

I need to put pictures to what i describe, that is the only way my advice would make sense. I had actually planned a post to define what i think has been the 'ideal medic fashion' but then it clicked. How can i describe it without putting up pictures. Unlike runway fashion or shopping sites that have office wears on sale, pictures of medic fashion or should i say the standard medic fashion is not on the net (partly because it is boring and partly because most medics don't update pictures on the net and also i might not know who and who is a medic on the net).

So till i am able to get my camera. i won't be able to put up any post for a while. However by God's Grace, i should be getting a camera this month or should i say, i should be ordering for a camera this month. I am hoping that the shipping company i am planning to use this month won't disappoint me.

I plan on uploading 'outfits of the day(OTD)' of different shapes and sizes and in different health sectors (so people please if i ask for a picture please say yes.....*smilingandblinkingmyeyes, Thank you), 'Make up of the the day (MOTD)', 'What not to wear' and 'out of the office' wear.

I am hoping i can find a way to combine all that i have to do so that nothing suffers. Still trying to find a system that works. However i know i would find one. So please bear with me for now.

Thanks for reading and have a blessed new month.

Luv ya,
Petite Diva.

P.S: I am stuck between getting a sony or canon camera. Can anyone help me out? I hope i make the right choice since i am not tech savvy and i am not up for buying another camera after this one (at least for a long while). I have so much to do with my money right now.

WELCOME TO THE MEDICATED FASHION BLOG

Hey guys, welcome to a fashion blog with a difference. I don't know if there is a fashion blog out there that aims to give fashion tips to the medical professionals in Nigeria but i do know i am going to try my best to help medics like myself change a lot in their fashion sense. We need to revamp out fashion sense, medically....

I am not a fashion stylist but i promise to give it all my best (God willing) and try to make you 'medics' the most fashionable medics in the world.

Get ready for a fashion blog with a whoooollllle lot of difference. Medics rock!! Our fashion rocks!!

Hope i see you soon. Would start with the basics, describe fashion pieces and fashion statement and slangs. I hope you love this blog.

Love ya,
Petite Diva.
